As usual I think we will see some upsets in the first round, I thought since it's been a ghost town in here all season I would try to get some talk going with a few playoff predictions for the first round. I'm gonna stay away from my series for superstitious reasons.

Blues vs Northstars - Blues in 4
The return of snaker will give the defending champs an emotional boost!

Interesting - somehow weez is near the top of league scoring, I think Bubba must be wearing his shirt every other game or something.

Flyers vs Sharks - Sharks in 5
Merle is playoff ready, I am going to pile the pressure on him and say that he will steal this series despite the fact that he is missing game 1 to watch the Flyers most likely destroy the god awful Leafs.

Interesting - the captainless Sharks have put together a fairly solid season considering the off ice turmoil, could they be this years Cinderella?

Devils vs. Redwings - Redwings in 4
The Devils only win in the last five games was a shootout victory over the worst team in the league, I think we all know which team that is...

Interesting - Redwings rookie Sean McCann has been responsible for close to 60% of the wings total offence, note to Devils, maybe keep an eye on him.

I am hoping that one the upsets will be in the first series that you mentioned. Blues will be missing some key players through out the beginning of the playoffs that will hurt their offense. I think that the Stars are just starting on a hot streak that will take them through the play offs. I am going to take the Stars because of their strong coaching.

I think that Flyers are just to strong to lose to the Sharks in the first round. I am going to take the Fleyrs in 4.

I watched the Penguins play their final game of the regular series, although they looked strong, i think that the Bruins are going to be too much for them. Skinny is hot, and that is not going to help anyone in the second season.

I will agree with Crisco for the Devils/Red Wings series, unless they can shut down Canner they will be playing off for the B trophy.

tight loss for the red wings vs. the devils, game 5 overtime...shorthanded! rumour has it the fix was in...wings had to throw the game to pay off gambling debts...owed cases of beer to some bad dudes...zrock mafia...taylor and the gang!
